Hollywood takes all new building permit applications online through the Accela Citizen Access (ACA) portal, where you can apply, upload documents, pay fees, and manage your permit. The city moved new applications to Accela on August 4, 2026; permits issued earlier in the older BCLA system are looked up through the city's BCLA permit search, and submittals for them go to ePermits@hollywoodfl.org. For in-person help, the Building Division is at the Development Services Hub on the second floor of the library at City Hall Circle, 2600 Hollywood Blvd, and you can book time with a permit representative or plans examiner through the city's QLess virtual check-in. Schedule inspections for Accela permits in the portal. For older BCLA permits, use the online permit search or the automated inspection line at 954-921-3646, which is available 24 hours a day.
